HumanityBots Website Terms of Use

1. These terms

These terms govern your use of www.humanitybots.com (the "Site"), operated by HumanityBots, Inc., a Texas corporation at 5900 Balcones Drive #32932, Austin, TX 78731 ("HumanityBots", "we", "us"). By using the Site you accept these terms and our Website Privacy Policy (humanitybots.com/privacy). If you do not accept them, please do not use the Site.

Our apps are governed by their own terms, which you accept when you create an account in them: OneSelf (humanitybots.com/oneself/terms), and others as we release them. Nothing on this Site changes those terms.

2. What the Site is for

The Site describes HumanityBots, our products and our research, and lets you contact us. It is information, not advice. Nothing on the Site is medical, legal, financial or other professional advice, and nothing on it creates a relationship between you and any professional. Descriptions of products are general; what a product does is set out in that product's own terms and in the product itself.

3. Using the Site

You may browse the Site and use the contact form for its purpose. You may not: use the Site for anything unlawful; try to reach any part of it you are not meant to reach; interfere with its operation or security; scrape or copy it with automated tools; use the contact form to send spam, advertising or abuse; or pretend to be someone you are not. You must be 18 or older to use the contact form.

4. What you send us

Anything you send through the contact form or by email is handled as described in the Website Privacy Policy. If you send us ideas, suggestions or feedback about our products, you agree that we may use them without any obligation to you. Please do not send us confidential information or anyone's health information through the Site.

5. Our content

The Site and everything on it (text, images, graphics, logos, product names, designs and code) belong to HumanityBots or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. HumanityBots, OneSelf and our other product names are our trademarks. You may view and print pages for your own non-commercial use. Any other use needs our written permission.

6. Links to other sites

The Site may link to app stores, partner sites and other third-party sites. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or how they handle your information. Their own terms and privacy policies apply.

7. No warranty

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no promise that the Site will be accurate, complete, uninterrupted or free of errors or harmful code, and we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the Site at any time without notice.

8. Limit on liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, HumanityBots and its officers, directors and employees are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data or profits, arising out of your use of the Site, however caused. Our total liability for all claims relating to the Site is limited to $100. These limits do not apply to liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for our fraud, gross negligence or wilful misconduct, or for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Please email hello@humanitybots.com first about any dispute, and we will try to resolve it within 60 days. Any dispute about the Site that cannot be resolved that way will be heard only in the state or federal courts in Travis County, Texas, and you agree to that venue. Nothing in this section takes away protections you have under the consumer laws of the place where you live.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. The version on the Site when you use it is the one that applies. Earlier versions are available on request from hello@humanitybots.com. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies.
