HumanityBots Website Privacy Policy
Page address: humanitybots.com/privacy
Effective date: 9 October 2026. Last updated: 9 October 2026.
What this covers
This policy covers the website at www.humanitybots.com and any email you exchange with us through it. It is published by HumanityBots, Inc., a Texas corporation at 5900 Balcones Drive #32932, Austin, TX 78731 ("HumanityBots", "we", "us").
It does not cover our apps. Each app has its own policy, because each collects different information: OneSelf (humanitybots.com/oneself/privacy), and others as we release them. If you use one of our apps, that app's policy applies to what you do in it.
The short version
- The website collects very little: what you type into the contact form, and the ordinary technical records any website keeps.
- We use no advertising, no tracking cookies and no analytics tools on this site.
- We do not sell or share your information with anyone for marketing.
- You can ask us at any time what we hold about you, and ask us to delete it.
Information we collect
The contact form. Your name, your email address, how you describe yourself (for example caregiver, clinician, partner, researcher) and your message. We collect this only when you choose to send it.
Email. If you email us, we keep the exchange so we can reply and refer back to it.
Technical records. Like every website, our hosting provider records the address your device connects from (your IP address), the pages requested, the time and your browser type. These records are kept for security and to keep the site running, and are deleted automatically within 90 days.
Cookies. This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies. If we ever add analytics or embedded content that sets cookies, we will update this policy and ask for your consent first where the law requires it.
We do not collect precise location, payment details or health information through this website. Please do not put health information about yourself or anyone else in the contact form. If you need to tell us something like that, say so and we will arrange a secure way.
How we use it
- To reply to you and deal with what you asked about.
- To keep a record of our correspondence.
- To keep the website secure and working.
- To send you news about HumanityBots, only if you ask for it, with an unsubscribe link in every message.
- To comply with the law.
We do not use your information for profiling, automated decisions or advertising. Where the law asks us to name a legal basis, we rely on our legitimate interest in running the site and answering enquiries, and on your consent where you ask to receive news.
Who sees it
Only the services that run the site, and only to do that job:
| Who | What they do | What they receive |
|---|---|---|
| Netlify, Inc. | Hosts and serves the website | Technical records (IP address, pages requested, browser type) |
| FormSubmit (formsubmit.co) | Delivers contact form messages to our inbox | What you type into the form |
| Titan (a GoDaddy email service) | Our email | Your email address and your message |
| xAI (grok.com) | Each page loads a small script from the tool we used to build the site | The standard technical information any web request carries (IP address and browser type) |
We may also share information if the law requires it, or if HumanityBots is sold or merges, in which case the new owner must keep these promises. We never sell your information and never give it to advertisers or data brokers.
Where it is kept and for how long
Our email and form records are kept in the United States. Contact form messages and email exchanges are kept for two years after our last reply, then deleted. Technical records are deleted within 90 days.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to tell you what information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to stop sending you anything. Email hello@humanitybots.com and we will act within 30 days. We may ask you to confirm the email address you wrote from.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you also have the right to object to our use of your information, to receive a copy in a portable form, and to complain to your data protection authority. If you are in India, you have the rights set out in the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, including the right to a grievance process; use the contact details below.
If you are in California: we do not sell or share personal information; we do not respond to browser Do Not Track signals because there is no agreed standard for them; and we do not allow any third party to collect information about your activity across other sites through ours for advertising.
Children
This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Security
The site is served over an encrypted connection, form messages and email are stored in access-controlled accounts, and we keep information no longer than we need it. If information you gave us is ever accessed without authorisation, we will tell you by email.
Changes
We will post any change here with a new effective date. Earlier versions are available on request from hello@humanitybots.com.
